VISION STATEMENT

Obesity is the reason that the current generation of youth is predicted to live a shorter life than their parents.¹
The disease has reached epidemic proportions globally, with 2.8 million people dying each year².

Much can be done to tackle obesity, yet, opportunities, including changes for people to eat healthy and be active, as well as those that provide appropriate medical treatment for patients, have gone largely unmet.

The “mychoicemylife” Campaign aims to fill this gap and expose the physical and emotional impact of living with obesity.
By bringing together available knowledge, the Campaign plans to provide some of the guidance people need so as to make proper lifestyle choices, become aware of prevention and treatment options and gain control over a better quality of life!
